Easter Egg Hunt

Just before Easter a fun event is an Easter Egg Hunt.  During the Easter Egg Hunt an adult hides eggs, often outdoors, and children search for them.  They then keep what they find.  But, you do need some tings to help with the event.

The Easter eggs should not be laid on the ground.  Even if they are wrapped, the wrapper can get dirty, and the little fingers that handle the wrapper will handle the egg before it is eaten.  Use eggs that can be placed inside plastic eggs.  This also keeps small eggs from being overlooked.

Buy in large lots.  You do not need to pay for all that packaging by buying six or even twelve at a time.

And, you can use some for table decorations!

But after a small child has one egg in each hand there is a problem.  How can a third egg be picked up?  The solution is inexpensive Easter baskets.  Get a group of small baskets and pass them out before the actual hunt begins.  Then sit the children down, allow them to pick the colored grass for the baskets, and personalize heir own basket.  This is a fun activity that allows them to get ready for the hunt with anticipation, which is most of the fun.
